If you’re wondering why you as a patient should care about such things, let me tell you this - The Sjogren's Foundation is committed to educating health professionals about the complex nature of the disease.
They do so in many ways such as speaking at conferences, utilizing a large range of professionals in their medical advisory board, and publishing newsletters like this one for the medical community.
The more education we provide to the medical community, the easier it will get to have competent medical staff monitoring and treating individuals with Sjogren's.
This means better care for you and people in your community.
Inside the Sjogren's Quarterly newsletter the Sjogren's Foundation put together information on current issues for Sjogren's patients, changes in key leadership at the foundation, and my favorite clinical news.
